Microsoft's search engine Bing has integrated OpenAI's DALL-E 2, a text-to-image generator, with its platform. Bing Image Creator, an advanced version of the DALL-E model, allows users to create an image based on their own description, providing both written and visual content.
This tool is now available to all Bing and Microsoft Edge users, generating almost any image users can imagine by typing a description, adding context, and selecting an art style. Previously, Bing was limited to searching for existing images on the web.
According to Bing data, images are the second most searched category after general web searches. The Bing Image Creator is fully integrated into the Bing chat experience and is available initially in Creative mode.
Users can access it by going to bing.com, selecting the 'Images' option, and clicking on 'Image Creator,' or by searching 'bing.com/image/create.'
The new DALL-E-based Image Creator is expected to disrupt many sectors, similar to the AI revolution brought by OpenAI's ChatGPT.
